Over the next several days,
we shared this story with each of our children.
No surprise ALL three of them
thought there was absolutely NO question but that we should do this. We’ve often thought and talked about taking
another exchange student. The kids have
all enjoyed the variety of experiences that our family has had by sharing our
home with other kids/young adults. And
they were all for the idea of an adoption.
But what we really needed at
this point was more information. And
that meant me contacting Sue, and setting up a time to talk with her and her
husband and find out – in the words of Paul Harvey - “the rest of the story”.
